W.I.N.O.S. Buddies® Trademark & Logo Policy
W.I.N.O.S. Buddies®, W.I.N.O.S. Buddies® club logo, W.I.N.O.S.® (Women In Need Of Sanity), the woman diving into the wine glass logo, and various other marks are the intellectual property of W.I.N.O.S., Inc., and are protected under U.S. trademark law. The W.I.N.O.S. Buddies® club logo as found on the website www.winosbuddies.com and W.I.N.O.S. Buddies® may be used by registered chapters, in good standing, of W.I.N.O.S. Buddies®. W.I.N.O.S. Buddies® Chapters may use the W.I.N.O.S. Buddies® logo on their chapter website and other promotional materials such as business cards, letterhead, signs, placards, chapter newsletters and events fliers, without special permission. However, registered chapters may not use the W.I.N.O.S. Buddies® logo to promote or sell any product or service of any kind. The W.I.N.O.S. Buddies® logo may not be altered or defaced in any way, used in a manner that defames W.I.N.O.S.® or W.I.N.O.S. Buddies®, or used with any objectionable material as determined by W.I.N.O.S. Inc. in its sole discretion. To avoid any confusion, Chapters using the W.I.N.O.S. Buddies® logo must include the specific name of the Chapter on the front page of their website in front of, beside or below the W.I.N.O.S. Buddies® Chapter logo. Furthermore, when using the W.I.N.O.S. Buddies® mark, Chapters must always use the mark in conjunction with the Chapter name in the following format:, e.g. Winnetka Chapter, W.I.N.O.S. Buddies®. Once a Chapter is registered with W.I.N.O.S. Buddies®, a downloadable version of the W.I.N.O.S. Buddies® logo will be sent electronically to that Chapter along with complete instructions for use, saving to hard drives and copying to materials to be used electronically and/or printed. We reserve the right to remove the link to a Chapter from our website at any time, for any reason, without notice. Other than the specific uses of the W.I.N.O.S. Buddies® marks noted above, any person or group seeking to use any mark of W.I.N.O.S., Inc. must first obtain written permission to do so. Failure to obtain said permission may result in legal action. This policy may be changed or amended from time to time without prior notice.
